Ghost Train: Hereford to Ross-On-Wye (Lost Railways)

I live in Hereford and to be honest I think this line would be a big success if reopened, especially if the line after Ross carried on towards Gloucester. With the way people's work and shopping habits have changed over the years, like shopping and working in other cities etc a line like this would be busy most days, that also goes for the old line out of Hereford to Hay then on to Brecon and eventually through central Wales to Aberystwyth, day trippers, hikers, mountain bikers, shoppers would use it a lot nowadays I think.

this is great! thanks for putting it together. I grew up in the village of Bromsash on the outskirts of Ross and was facinated by the remenants of the railway line that ran close to the A40. Such a shame that it will never be reinstated due to the developments on the old line.

Love this! Would be interesting to walk some of the old railway, if it was possible. I wonder if any of the old tunnels are still in existence?
