I can't help but think of the movie 'The Tunnel' when I see these shorts from you.. and that movie scared the hell out of me.. so.. yea.. scared me. Can't help I'm watching it at quarter to 1 in the morning in the pitch black.

Thanks, I always enjoy producing a good soundtrack and to me it can either break or make a movie. It really brings a film to life whether a short, feature, documentary etc to life. Always an interesting challenge.

Yes, it comes out below Bald Hill at Stanwell Park. The road that now leads from there (Chellowdene) joins up with Lawrence Hargrave Drive and this use to be the old train line through Stanwell Park, and now is the main road!

Hi Mark, thanks for the comment. Yes, that is a ventilation shaft. It can be seen from the inside in my GHOST TUNNEL WALK and GHOST TUNNEL TOURIST videos.

This is the spookiest out of several tunnels in the area, and really your imagination can certainly run away with you in there. It's just over a kilometre long and you can walk through it and I'm trying to talk some friends into it, literally!!!

Bit of Blair Witch action going on there I see. I came across that tunnel in the 1980's. I was driving along that track and next thing there's a friggen railway tunnel in front of me. I thought bugger me. There wasn't any gates blocking the entrance then. I drove in a bit and put on head lights on high beam, but even with that you couldn't see squat. Damn dark tunnel. Never crossed my mind the main road through Stanwell Park was an old railway line. Thanks for posting.

I have a pet Crow named George and he went nuts we he heard the sounds effects in this vid l. He threw an even bigger fit when he heard the sounds in the Ghost Train 1 vid. haha

I set out to make an atmospheric, eerie video, and sounds like I did. Interesting in what you say. Though when I took the video, I could hardly wait to get out of there!!! The tunnel should be made a tourist attraction.

I think the guys were a bit unsettled but then we had pretty weak torches too. Now the new led light torches are pretty powerful. When we go, I'll do a film. I did a film with friends hunting for glow worms in the tunnel I filmed the original GHOST TUNNEL video in (GHOST TUNNEL - GLOW WORM CITY), and going in there at night was spooky enough. It was also fun.

One of the guys seems to have a problem committing himself to it, and I want him along because he's a train fanatic and knows more about these tunnels. But hopefully we can do something sooner than later. Keep an eye out!

Yes, this tunnel is a worry. I took a group of people in there once and we were suppose to go to the other end, but the women got too nervous not that far in. So we beat a hasty retreat!

It is also said that on a moonlit night you still can't see a lot inside a dark tunnel. Ps take your umbrella seems to be prone to thunderstorms in the tunnels.

It's hard pinning them down to commit! A few years ago, I started taking a group of people through but the women got too scared only a hundred metres or so in, and wanted out!!!

The tunnel is a little too dangerous to really go by yourself. Very rocky, uneven ground, even a slight twist of the ankle and you would need help. Don't know what the mobile coverage would be like either because you could be deep inside.

Why is the tunnel's ceiling so low?

+gblumAWESOME 123 (gblumawesome) It's because a lot dirt etc, have washed into the tunnel over the years. Also one section was blasted down in WW2 by the Army to prevent any Japanese invaders from using the tunnel... now they turn up with cameras to photograph it!!!!
