What do we think of this suggestion? Have you been playing it in D standard with notes and no powerchords?

Drop D would make sense to me. I can more easily imagine someone coming up with the part playing in Drop D. The D Standard version would not be something someone would "fall into" if they were coming up with rifs (in my opinion). Great job as usual!

Absolutely.

I've been learning it and think it is in D Standard. The right hand is doing a good bit of work on muting or half muting the notes. I stand to be corrected though.

I think you’re right. It sound more ‘fat’ as the original. I’ll try this one played in drop 🙏

Well, munmy dust and hunter's moon are tuned on drop c on the official tabs Makes sense to use drop-d for Twenties tho

I hear chords for sure. It's entirely possible this bit was done just on drop D and the rest of the song in D standard as yeah it's awkward.

I’d say the whole song would be in drop. Maybe we’ll see one day 👀

If they were playing it live it would not make sense to have both because to change the tunning would mid song would be a bit awkward so heck if I know the drop D definitely sounds better 🤘

They’d just change guitars.

mummy dust is in drop c? reckon it could be in drop c? it would be a ballache to either change strings for one tuning or carry 3 guitars JUST for one song in drop D? i dunno bro it is a tough one, they probably have the money to haul more equipment around but ahhh seems pointless to me for them to carry their main in d standard, one in drop c JUST for mummy dust and THEN another for twenties in drop D? seems more trouble than it's worth but i could be wrong? and watching them live yeah they could put a capo on the guitars to change from drop c to d but i didn't see a capo on any?

This is just not how it works man. They bring several guitars on tour. Various songs have this tuning and the guitars are ready to go. No new strings or capos are required.

@@notanamelessghoul i am a professional musician myself lad i know how things work, i mean i guess with the money ghost draw in they probably could carry more equipment but i doubt they would want the fuss? unless they are using a drop pedal for some? we will never know until they do a rig rundown anyways haha, i enjoy ya vids nonetheless
