That second Ritual solo still gives me goosebumps. My dad took me to see Ghost in 2014 in San Diego (we lived in Vegas but it was an 18+ show there and I was 13). Seeing them play Ritual in the encore was one of my favorite concert moments in my whole life

I can tell by the way you're playing you've been at this a while ,you may even be a teacher or professional it sure sounds like! I'm a drummer first but write proper songs BUT my Achilles heal is muting distorted sounds without that sloppy playing noise lol.

I've been playing this song by ear since it came out but this tutorial managed to clarify some things. I like how despite being a simple song, it's very well distributed with the riffs and melodies 🎸🔥

The Ghouls are so creative as musicians. They really know how to take Tobia’s foundation for guitar parts and really embellish and add nuance to them. So many bands dont have that talent or ear. They just play predictable licks whereas once you see what the Ghouls are playing, you really see how creative the movements are. Same with the Bass parts. When you hear it isolated you’re like “wow, I had no idea that was in there”.

I use 2: a peavey 5150 and a Marshall JVM 410. It wants to be heavy but not saturated with gain. It’s hard for me to say as I don’t have your amps. Boss Katana’s are good. You should manage on that.

well unfortunately for you, with times changing, forge has to adapt his music to fit current trends and such, like with mary on a cross, it was a pretty big change. i'm not having a go at you, but in my opinion, if you really are a fan of ghost and their work, you would support tobias's decisions, and support the fact that its also a business for him, and he has to continue to earn money and gain listeners so that he can keep doing what he loves. the fact is, the old ghost won't come back, because it isn't 2010 anymore. thats just the truth.

It seems a small percentage of fans are in this - if it’s not heavy, I don’t like it, camp. For me I think it would’ve gotten stale if it were only just that. I like the variety of styles and I love this song.
