This is a fantastic rock song. So underrated. Not even Tobias believed in it but it got so many plays on digital platforms that he had to start playing it live. It's about the Grim Reaper coming to collect the debt that this man had got selling his soul to the devil. (What you sold you can not unsell meaning what is done is done and can't be changed). The lyric "while you sleep in earthly delight, someones flesh is rotting tonight" really makes you think that in the same second i write this someone takes his/hers last breath on earth. Mind-blowing.

I was sad when they stopped playing it live, as it's one of my favorite tunes, but I understand that it was a hard one to pull off the 'vibe' live. Some of their songs translate better to different mediums and maybe this one is at its best when you're by yourself in a dark room.

This song when I heard it touched my soul. Your reaction is so fitting. The love you have for music is great to see. One of my favorite songs. Is about death, and suicide. The reaper's perspective, talking to us. The line that says someone's flesh is rotting tonight like bo other, to you what you jave done you can not undo, refers to the permanence of death. The inevitability of it all. We never want death to appear, but it is always there behind us in a pale whote horse, closer than we think. We can try avoid it but to no avail...we will all suffer this plight..want it or not. Beautiful song. So much truth.

I don’t know if it’s been brought up but ghost really isn’t a band, it’s Tobias who at least writes the music, writes and records the guitars the “band” is replaceable people for touring. So all those guitars and solos you like are Tobias. A few songs he didn’t write like year zero. Also, they mostly play with pop culture satan which is much different than the biblical satan that Europeans know. I’d guess he uses it because it’s taboo and taboo sells. Nevertheless, he’s a damn genius
