I remember being on a boat in the middle of my grandmother's lake at 3 in the morning; Full moon, clear sky, fog... and this song playing in the background. It's an image that always stuck in my mind because of how blissful it was. Either way its a good song, it's just not for everybody.

Easily one of my favorite Ghost songs. Also, disco...? The fuck are you guys on...? It's called surf rock. And the fact they threw in some surf rock just tells you how amazingly unpredictable Ghost are. I love the first third of the song with the slow, melodic melody but STILL the fast part absolultely saves the song and makes it EVEN BETTER. This song blew me away the first time I heard it. There´s no disco in this song man xD It´s an intentional move by them. It´s a goody song, It´s starts beautiful then eerie & somber and suddenly it switches up with a more surf rock & phsycedelic feel. The subject is dark, but the music turns light and groovy. It´s a contrasting song. It´s a popular song hence suggested, the majority shares an equal understanding with it that you either don´t, can´t or won´t ;) A zombie relationship is conflicting between the heart and the mind. You know the person that is dead alive that´s stolen your heart, but at the same time she´s technically dead and so the relationship is dead and you know that in your head... So it´s always that balancing on a thin line between staying by her side and believing in something unreasonable or letting her go and move on. The question is whether you´ll follow your heart or your brain.

I very rarely watch you guys, but, this one got me to really watch. Um... "Disco"? No. Try "Miserilou" by Dick Dale for a possible inspiration into "Ghuleh/Zombie Queen" or "Pipeline" (I can't remember at the moment the band that did that song). The closest Ghost had gotten to disco is the Carpenter Brut's remix of "Dance Macabre". Otherwise, interesting take with your review on this great song.
