Seeing Slimer brought back for the Frozen Empire film never failed to put a smile on my face. It wouldn't be complete without him. And the practical effects that were used for Slimer again are mind-blowing as well as the visual effects. I wish Slimer had also looked like that in Ghostbusters II (2).

In Ghostbusters Afterlife, Ray told Phoebe that after they lost the firehouse, it ended up being turned into a Starbucks. But in the post credits, the place was completely empty. My guess is given his appetite and he’s been living in the attic all this time, Slimer must’ve scared away the Starbucks people after eating all their food.

Third movie of the new cast will likely be out either late 2025 or sometime 2026. They said it's intended to be a trilogy.
