Did anybody else not realize you don't have infinite lives at first? I thought the way it worked was as long as you have rifts up, you can keep respawning. I kept getting so pissed cuz I was like "wtf it didn't tell me my rift was being attacked." Did anyone else not understand that at first or was it just me being dumb and not understanding the tutorial?

The most effective way to scare the civilians is to possess an object than use the lure sound ability.. once the NPC turns towards you, jump out of the object and scare them. Almost always sends them running out of the building instantly.

The first rift scene is so unreal. There will be allways one hunter looking For you und and stun you. The the others put out the traps and gone.

I love the game, but truly believe there's a balance issue. 4 coordinated busters will slap the ghost. They get to you super fast, along with multiple traps and stuns...plus ionizer grenades.

I've done pretty well as ghost in streams. The game is brand new so I think we'll see some balance but I would guess we might see a longer stun cool down and stun duration reduction pretty quick. Aside from chain stuns a coordinated team doesn't scare me.

Unfortunately the rift spawns are not random more than a couple of places it sucks when busters have these memorized and split up and attack them at the same time or move as a group. What's more annoying is you move the rift to somewhere crazy and they still find it right away.

Red dot on edge of screen tells you when and what direction ghost is coming from.. always put trap down in closed position when soloing a rift.

also if you get caught you can grind against the floor its harder to move you if you grind againsy the floor of course doesnt work if the trap is right below you

Start by haunting rooms (after you're sure your rifts are in good places that's something I need to do). To haunt a room you just have to haunt lots of objects and stay in there. If a Ghostbuster comes try to slime them because that will add to the room haunt, but don't stay for long because backup will probably be coming

Also scaring people to the point of being horrified and they run out of the building helps a lot. Try to also keep the fear level in civilians high because the ghostbusters will get distracted trying to calm them down, AND it will make them easier to horrify when the building has reached full haunt. Horrifying people during that time cuts the timer down. It's the best thing you can do to win

Tap the button on screen when you're over the sweet spot, arrow should tell you if you need to move to the left or right

They can slime stuff but in general I use em as a fire and forget or quick distraction

@@typervader the minions will show up on the pke meter to so if you drop them in a room it will look like you are in that room to the busters

@@typervader as a buster a great counter is to throw your trap down and open it and all the minions will get sucked in within like 2 seconds, or to just use your stun on the pke meter to destroy them super quick if your chasing the ghost or something and don't have time to huck down your trap

I-frames=Invulnerability Frames. You can't be tethered/slowed/etc when the tether breaks.

busters cant touch you in rooms that have lots of chairs for example. you can just fly through all of them nearly invisibly by posessing them
