I’d hoped they would’ve reworked how some of the proton packs worked in the remaster. Maybe the proton stream could grapple ghosts to slam them after training the stream for long enough. The shock blast could be charged to possibly initiate more damage. The slime blower could use the ectoplasm to slip or slip down walking ghosts when sprayed on the ground, and anchor down floating ghosts with tethers. Then the meson collider could have penetrated physical covers.
