I've stayed in the zoo (not Night Safari) at night. They have a package where you can hold small events or weddings at designated spots there. There is a suite in one of the spots that's not accessible to public unless you booked an event. (I'm not naming the spot to avoid thrill seekers from going there.) But anyway, this suite came with our package. As our event was past closing time, guests had to come in by the trams to our event spot. The zoo discouraged them from walking in. Like what the guy mentioned in the video about the zoo being strict about staff leaving on time, they were also strict about our event timing and we had to make sure we ended it on time, on the dot. Other than the two of us, our guests weren't allowed to stay on and they were ferried back to the entrance by tram. They really made sure all guests were accounted for and had left the event area. It was great that we'd the suite as we were quite exhausted by then. We also wanted the novelty of having the chance to overnight there. We barely lasted beyond 3-hrs. It was scary as hell. The room had no windows so it made it all the more scary and claustrophobic. I felt like the place was getting overcrowded. Like there were a lot of people in the room. The air just felt so heavy and the room was starting to smell. Beyond the noises of the familiar nocturnal animals we also heard other stuff. (Not sure if it was an animal or something else.) We had to get out of there. By then, the tram for our event had already stopped operations. Although we did have access to the events manager's contact who would make arrangements for us if we needed anything throughout our stay. We didn't even wait to contact her and got the hell out of there on our own. On the way out, we knew then why our guests weren't allowed to move around on their own. It was pitch dark. No lights. We'd to use the torch on our phones to find our way. Thankfully it wasn't far from the exit and we'd walked here enough times to know where to head. I didn't dare look anywhere else but where we were heading. We felt such a relief when we exited the zoo. (We had after hours access to the entry/exit point.) We didn't waste anymore time and drove off immediately. The experience gave me a whole different perspective about the zoo. How could a place that gave kids and people joy in the day feel so 'dark' and bad at night. How could they even have the Halloween Horror Nights in the past when the place was already so 'dirty' at night. 😮

Having been for Halloween horrors as a member of the public at Singapore zoo I'd always felt the atmosphere was scarier? Didn't realize it was that realistic. Kudos to the staff running the show to have to act professional when the headcount was wrong

happened to me and my fren .. happened to sit at the last row of the tram. Saw Miss P when the tram approached the dark corner as mentioned.. wished the trams could pick up speed ... was down with fever for few days after the visit.. even the illumina show .. not for the faint hearted

Circuit road just feel gloomy and rundown from my perspective

Sadly, it's a very old and poor housing estate, and the government doesn't really invest much money to upgrade it. So the overall atmosphere of the area is very gloomy, and that will attract many wondering souls to dwell there, making it worse. Basically, it's a vicious cycle.

Circuit Road is not so bad lah ... there's a long stretche of great hawker centre with great stalls that opens very late, if you love that atmospheric HDB estate with the homely 70-80s feel, its a great estate to live in. Not everyone loves the modern HDB styles that the government is pushing, I for one finds the new HDB designs lacking in personality, everything feels very cold and too clean cut, there's no particular distinct personality in our HDB estates these days.

I love Circuit Road lol, I used to rent at Balam just next to it. It's an old, charming place and the people there love animals. Never felt anything off about it.

I live near circuit road. I would walk there to get dinner at the hawker centre. I wouldn't say it's bad energy just very old and quiet at night. I would cut through the estates to get to macpherson mrt Station after getting dinner. I'm more alert to bad ppl than ghosts! My church is nearby too so I'm used to that area.

I love circuit road , great hawker filled with life and an old Singapore feel to it . Not much by the road side Al fresco dining nowadays in Singapore. The blocks are lovely 80s design of communal 2 and 3 rooms . Brightly lited nowadays. You would not go hungry given the amount of eatery. An old world charm to it. Of course in these less privileged housing you tend to have more unstable people which is part of the package .

I grew up in Circuit Road from 80s to 2000s. The area was really like a ghetto back then because most of the households there were either low SES or elderlies who lived on their own. It was darker and there used to be more rental units (those that had no rooms) then. Many have made way for newer and multi room HDBs. There were a lot of druggies and gang fights in the area as well. I lived right across the old hawker centre. Every other night you'd hear bottles breaking and people fighting or drunks getting out of hand. It was so bad, my mom would give me hell whenever I stayed out late. The areas further in Balam Road were also dark and quiet as well. My friends and I used to hang out there or the field nearer to the (now defunct) school. We didn't encounter anything. The place was just dark. The whole stretch where the 7-Eleven is was a bit creepy as well. I used to work there in my teens. None of us liked going to the store room upstairs because it gave off a bad vibe. Some colleagues said things would shift on their own sometimes or they would hear someone calling them but nobody was there. I remember as a kid, I went to the PAP kindergarten next door. (Don't know if it's still there.) Their upper level was creepy as hell too. Our toilet was upstairs. One day, one of the kids went up on her own (we weren't supposed to). The teachers didn't know she was up there until she started screaming. Apparently she said she saw a man who was all black standing by the window. When he turned to look at her he had red eyes. I don't know if it was a kid's imagination, but I guess there might be some truth since the upper level of the 7-E was just as creepy. I've friends living in the 'newer' flats there now, but none of them have encountered anything. I guess maybe since the whole area has been redeveloped and more well lighted now it doesn't feel creepy anymore.

I use to work at the downtown line construction of Metta stn, and there are times.. where I be doing the nite shift.. so 3 am or 4am. I normally go out to the hawker ctr to get some fresh air.. and sometimes I hv to cut through the blk to assist w my colleague at Macpherson stn.. due to urgent work.. not that creepy.. to what I hv experienced be4 in other site

Singapore zoo is probably haunted because of all the atrocities committed in that city as a result of the Japanese invasion during WWII. Now, literally thousands of sad, wandering restless spirits with unfinished business probably acts like a magnet for negativity and ghosts.

I can agree somewhat w one of the side of the building around that loop of circuit road. One of the shop houses were so bad with dark energy, I was literally repelled off into the road when I was walking along the pavement. It felt like my whole body got pushed off onto the road by invisible mechanism. And then you can feel the negative entities just guarding that space. Faced w that predicament I continued my way on the road until several units passed before going back onto the pavement again. When I turned back to look, it was seeing something strange, like an old place superimposed onto the modern one.

All 1 room block have Bad energy. Not just circuit road. Marsiling. Sin Ming. Jurong. The feeling you get is "I don't like to be here"

It's the design of these flats . Both side of the house share a common walkway which has no sun light that enter . It gives a gloomy look to these houses. Given the occupants are under privileged or elderly , the house are probably not that well maintained giving out odor or such. The close proximity, lack of sunlight and ventilation made up these atmosphere. Same could be said of Hong Kong public housing of the previous century, very similar design that where you got the 90s HK horror show settings from.

I do have a feeling of something around me or watching me; usually when I am alone or driving alone listening to KZbin Podcast such as Supernatural Confessions or MostAmazingTop10 Scary Marathons, just to name a few. But I will usually just brush it off and continue with my business, and the feeling will be gone soon after.

Hi people So far, of all video of the encounters I seen here, I think my encounters with the supernatural is still very scary. I once saw a huge black figure while working the night shift. The light was off and my 3 collegues was all sleeping. It appear at first as only 2 shinny green eyes going from the door to the other end of the wall and back. I was lying on my side and following it. When it appear it was looking at me and I was at the far end looking at him. What follow is sheer terror the whole night with him and me. I can prove it that it not any sleep paralysis or nightmare. I can tell the whole story. After that is another encounter while coming to office one early morning during one vesak or devapalli holiday in another company. Upon entering the office I I witness what appeared to be a ghost party going on in the room with alot of laughter and dancing. This is for real and I can proved it. Other are encounters with ghost walking in the middle of the night and a hangman nose like the one see in changi prison or movie in the middle of nowhere. Very scary what happened afterward. Circuit Road has a bad reputation for its dinginess and enclave of occupants there. And it just got worsened with a few high-profile suicidal cases that took place in that vicinity.

True. We stayed there during our childhood time and now the flats already demolished. My mom was always sick and my dad got to burnt and prayed for her. During burning my dad heard people (ghosts) coming, coming. My aunt experience staying alone in the flat and a skull was beside her. She rushed to my aunt house where we spent the weekend there

I was busy so I wasn't 100% sure of what he was saying. But I thought he said he was getting a ride and a spirit was next to him. Confirmed. We have a couple spirits that go with us to many places. I went to see a show by a pet spirit talker and the girls left. They said there weren't any other spirits, they weren't really psychic, and it was boring. The spirits basically said she was delusional. yikes. Anyhow, I passed by a bus once and it was full of spirits. They do like to take rides. They weren't bad. THey were just fascinated w/ watching their city grow over time.

I stayed in Circuit Rd for more than 10 years, it is fine with me. Maybe you are referring to Blk 37 where there are all 1 room HDB flat and they rented from the HDB, I heard got a lot of drug addicts in Blk 37, nad once in a while there are fights or quarrelling in that area, that's it. There are no factories or office in Circuit Rd except Upper Paya Lebar Rd area. The road is a loop except a bit noisy in the night when the vehicles passes round the loop, the rest is ok, and I agree some of the HDB flats are very old, at least 50 years old, that's it

ok. dk real or not. It was a hearsay from a friend. It was during one of the Night safari Halloween Horrors, there's like people dressing up everywhere la. So what happen is that they saw this person dressing up as Japanese Soldier. And people though the dressing up damn on point, so some went to take photo with him etc. But when photo come out it was empty.

Went to night safari alone using my sg rediscover vouchers during the covid period. Trams were packed so I was advised to go walk and check out the trails first before returning to join the tram queue. I did that. I walked in and it was super quiet and creepy. When I came to a crossing , where the staff stands alone to direct the tram and pedestrians, I checked with the staff on the ground and confirmed that I would have to walk out the same route out to go back to the tram queue. Noticed that the guy did not look comfortable. So, as I walked past the crossing, I noticed something solid white thick cloth/paper tucked into the tree branches up high. I did not dare to look at it straight so I went on ahead with other public members. Later, when I returned using the same path, I again looked at the same spot in the tree and confirmed the solid white object. Not sure, exactly what it was as I did not walk around the tree to confirm. It might be a banner of some sort for all that I know. But the behaviour of the staff standing below that tree was just off.

Sometimes when one feels "unclean" or bad luck due to "collision" with unknown "entities",just pluck 5 petals and bathe or shower with the 5 petals of the big yellow chrysanthemum flowers!

Once my friend in school wanted to visit the counsellor and I decided to follow him to keep him company. the counsellor had to go to her desk to prepare like forms and stuff. so he was waiting for the counsellor inside the room. it was in the evening when we visited the counsellor office and I heard from him that he heard some stuff inside the counselling room and that the vibes were very different from a normal room. he was able to sense it when he enter there. so yeah. but seeing him so like shocked plus he was having his problems so I didn't bothered him. but any ideas what it might be
