I kinda like the usa version it's different from the uk but they have, excuse the pun, the spirit of the show, most of the performances and line delivery are fun. Be great for a Christmas special if they did a cross over.

Anyone notice how the hippie, Native American and Viking ghosts seem to take turns appearing in episodes, like some episodes only the Viking and hippie will appear but you won’t see the Native American, and vice versa.

The season 2 is out now and they literally have one of the actor of the UK version as a cameo. It’s a remake, think of it as a different version of a similar events happening in a different part of the world, maybe even an alternate universe. Most of the characters have such different personality than their “counterparts”. They’re their own characters now.

This looks so flat. The original living characters are played by great actors these two are so blah. The ghosts are ok but lack the nuanced humour of the original. I'm so glad I live in the UK so get to watch the good version lol.

Not only did our languages diverge, but the fact, due to immigration comprising of European and ever since 1965, more globally, our humor is different from the Brits. Remember this; until WWII ended, The United Kingdom proper was a more homogeneous, stratified, and insular culture and society than ours.
