As a Brit i feel like im going to come across as a traitor but i never saw the British version. I knew of its existence but never bothered to see it. I accidentally stumbled across the American version and thought id give it a go. I really have enjoyed the American version. Absolutely love all the characters.

@@pauliedi6573 I loved the UK version. But yes, the US version is much better. I started rewatching the UK one and found some of the characters particularly grating. Kitty is a constant annoyance and Mike is an idiot. Robin the Caveman is the best character.

I'm a Canadian/American and love both versions! We were very sad when the UK version was cancelled! Hope the US version keeps going!

I also love it when Alberta and Hetty lock arms listening/snooping. I forget the episode, I think it was the bro one with Trevor's story. These actors all have their little mannerisms which just makes me giddy! Like Isaac with the gasping, Alberta with the eye rolling and expressions ... just love it all!

It almost infuriates me how great of an American accent rose has, it's scarily American and such a sweet voice it's almost eerie lol. Seriously though such a nice show funny but not always hilarious but it's always thoughtful, has cool characters to love in different ways. I love it

Season 2 has not disappointed! Love it! I look forward to Thursdays! My favorite scene too was the one with Isaac and Hetty, when he opened up to her about liking Nigel. Like Brandon, I teared up.

I love this show so much because like everyone said & continues to say, even if you don’t relate to some of the characters, you most likely will relate to someone. Personally I was taken aback by how I choked up and cried while watching the Tree episode, especially in the blessing/prayer scene. I am not even remotely Native American but my heritage includes a history of being brutally colonized and to see that scene really hit something in me I didn’t even know was there. Felt like a piece of something being set right, finally. Every single character, no matter how far-fetched &/or comical they may be portrayed as at times, is treated with respect in this show & it makes me so happy to see that there are so many other people this show speaks to. That story about the last woman’s nephew coming out to her literally encapsulates what good storytelling can do, how it can impact real life. Honestly can’t wait to see more new episodes (and many more seasons to come, hopefully)!

Absolutely love this show suprisingly more than the UK version. Love ROSE and the character FLOWER the most but each character is spectacular. Here in Australia we love comedies like this, so keep up the great work.

I'm so glad Danielle got to answer the question that she got skipped on at the beginning. I love how all the cast is so appreciative of each other and the crew. Great group. LOVE this show!

The woman at the end telling Brandon about her nephew is why deep down I will always prefer Isaac to the Captain from the BBC version. I can appreciate the artistic narrative reasons to have a character who never really comes out, but every little bit of proud representation helps someone make that step themselves.

I prefer the US version, and I've watched both. The reason is fairly simple, British humor and US humor aren't the same. Being American, i relate better to the US humor. Nothing bad about either version!

I think the difference in format also has a lot to do with it. We get the chance to get to know and care about the US cast much more because of the longer seasons. The UK cast felt very overcrowded to me, even though it’s the exact same number of characters.
