The reason the mask looked extra creepy was because in the dance scenes he had a body double and the mask didn’t fit the body double as well😭 so it looked kinda weird, but def check out more of their stuff, there’s not really anywhere you can go wrong with ghost! I’m seeing them in august for the first time and I’m so excited!

I'm happy for you that you finally found Ghost. 😊 I've been with them since 2013, and I can't stop listening to them. Every album has a concept, even though it's not a story from start to finish. This particular album, Prequelle, is about the plague that harvested Europe during the 14th - 15th century and erased nearly half of the inhabitants. This song is, as you can guess, about the bearers of plague, Rats. Keep on digging in the Ghost rabbit hole. I can recommend some of their earlier stuff aswell like Ritual and Year Zero. So dark and so happy at the same time! 😅

RATS! This is the first Ghost song I ever heard, immediately followed by Square Hammer, and now they are absolutely my favorite band. I eas kind of the same way before I listened to Ghost - I first heard of them through a friend, but I knew his taste in music was *way* heavier than mine, so I didn't bother checking them out. I was kicking myself once I got into them. One of the funny things about Ghost is the songs are all so catchy and many seem upbeat, but the lyrics are darker and often pertain to heavier subjects. Mary on a Cross Live in Tampa is a good live performance to check out, or even their Live From The Ministry video that was a promo for thr release of their latest album (it has three live songs - Kaisarion, Spillways, and Call Me Little Sunshine).

Rats was the first video footage I had ever watched of them and it absolutely captivated me. I was just NOT expecting any of this. I'm new to Ghost as well and wish I had sat down and given them a chance the couple times I had heard their name but better late than never! glad to see you're enjoying them. Rats is a banger

It's a song about the 'Black Death' (Plague) ravaging our city's, this was released just prior to the outbreak of Covid-19. Interesting foreshadowing here in my opinion!

Great reaction. Ghost are so talented, and fun. They mine all the best bits of hard rock/metal from the 70's and 80's, and add their own dark, Scooby Doom vibe to it. As for band-released live music, Mary on Cross is a recent live video. Faith is "live", but it's live clips with the album audio. They are excellent live - and put a lot into their show.
