I was so suspicious when I first saw the US was making their own version of the show but SO HAPPY with how it turned out. Making them distinctly different characters to better fit with the history of a different land is such a great choice and has given so many more opportunities for stories. The US episode amounts is the perfect trade off for the unique brilliance that only comes from BBC productions and the Them There crew. It’s always so nice knowing that there will be a huge chunk of adventures each season to explore and even after all the ones so far there’s no sign of fatigue with the characters

As someone who came out late in life I just love Isaac's story line and his eventual coupling with Nigel. We have always existed even during the time of the Revolutionary War! Isaac is just so refreshingly snarky and hilarious.
