I hope you're well. I've seen someone break a leg going through a stairs, seen sprained ankles, and someone mess up their knee, and youre the 2nd to go through a rotted floor. The other person actually got lucky as their feet landed on a wall cabinet below in the utility room or kitchen. I cant remember. But always when in doubt, either take a door off the hinges and use it to walk on, or just stay out of the soaked beyond safe structures. It almost looked like you was shoved backwards until I seen different camera views.

Well guys, what a place. Worth investigating but so frightening to see Paul nearly go through the floor. Thank goodness you didn't break any bones. The weather was a pain with all the water noises which scuppered the investigation a bit, but you both did great. What a crying shame that the once gorgeous Hall has just been left. It looks beyond help/restoration now.

Holy Crow Paul my heart was in my throat. I too have fallen through the floor of house and landed on a couch. It was the scariest, I truly thought the floors were safe. It was at a house I investigated in Rhode Island, the house was built in 1892. I thought I was as done for. Thank the gods my Son was with me. Thats why doing this job alone isnt advisable. Im so glad Mark was with you. I fractured my wrist and sprained my ankle. You were blessed and come out unscathed except for your nerves. It was still an excellent investigation. Sometimes a house just has residual and only active at a particular time or day. Or maybe they just didnt feel like communicating. It happens. So glad your good Paul. Stay safe both of you. 😊❤

Because of the amount of sharp pointy things in these places it might be worth buying some tourniquet straps, I get shivers looking at that hole your leg went down, so glad you're okay mate. It gives a new perspective in your behind the scenes video (members) when Mark is questioning the safety of those stairs he was carefully climbing with his B&M bag, I chuckled at the time because of the context but this brings it home. I think there's another safety issue you caught in this video for explorers and para-investigators. As well as homeless people also be cautious if you ever stumble upon an active 'grow', the person(s) growing and guarding it might not be nice and understanding that you've discovered their operation, people in that business worry more about being robbed than anything else so be very careful of them and what they carry. Having said all that, I hope I haven't put you off revisiting it one day in drier weather because it looks like a great place with potential, it's a shame to see it in such ruin. We were really pratting about as kids exploring an abandoned Water Cooler site, one of our party was on the roof when he went through and broke his back. Boy did we regret that after the ambulance and police had finished.Fortunately he did make a full recovery after some months, but we learned our lesson.....

My late sister got married here in 93,it was a beautifu buiding in beautiful grounds with a lake,shocked to hear it was in rack n ruin now.I hope someone restores it back to wat it was.
