GHPC Can the M2 Bradley TOW destroy the T 80B? Today Carl Experiments with the M2 Bradley BGM-71 TOW anti-tank wire guided missile. First he will test the T-80B turret, and then the hull. The T-80B does not have reactive armor on its hull, so my money is on the M2 Bradley. The later Russian tanks like the T-90M and the T-80 BVM has advanced reactive armor that can counter the BGM-71 TOW. The M2 Bradley is designed for reconnaissance and to transport a squad of infantry, providing them protection from small arms fire, while providing firepower to both suppress and eliminate most threats to friendly infantry. It is designed to be highly maneuverable and to be fast enough to keep up with heavy armor during an advance. The M2 holds a crew of three: a commander, a gunner, and a driver, and can carry six fully equipped soldiers as passengers.
The T-80 is a main battle tank (MBT) that was designed and manufactured in the former Soviet Union and manufactured in Russia.
