You are correct about the variations in heads, hair, and uniforms. I remember that we were all able to identify which figure belonged to which kid when we were playing. It's more like they were brothers rather than identical twins. I only have three "old" figures: An early eighties Action Man with the sniper bump, and I just bought a Mike Power who needs restringing and clean up, and a muscle body Land Adventurer that came in parts except for a missing upper arm piece. I have most of a talker body (without the talker) but I am using that for a custom non-GI Joe talking figure (need to make the head) so I am using reproduction parts for the legs and arms..

Only recently started collecting GI Joe's again, ot some from the 80tys and 90tys still in origional boxes. But after viewing some of your vids. and seeing some of Poplacks work I have starting making a few custom GI Joe figures. Currently I am using Cotswald heady and waiting for Worldbox bodies, along with damtoys accessories. Also some custom neck adapters, wrist and foot pegs from Poplock, will keep you updated on my progress. Also if anyone has a cheap Jeep please let me know. I had a beautiful 21st centuies one, but adly I gave it to a little boy my X was babysitting. on't think I will ever be able to afford to replace it. But at least put a smile on a kids face.

Awesome showcase, really cool hearing about each guys story, really amazing collection you got, the variation in them makes them fun to collect, each one has his own look, I think the 1974 and 75 figures had the smaller heads, I tend to like the look of them best, to me they look a bit tougher, a slightly more determined face.

I wished i had a quarter of what youve got, your the only guy who has so many different Joe's and i love ti see all the differences. I hope you never stop your videos. Oh by the way, I'm hoping you'll still sell your four modern Joe's we talked about, i would love to have a set that you've built. They may not be vintage but everything you do is so cool, you e got that Mitis touch for Joe's. Keep it up Jeff.
