I do remember the Weebles jungle! This is a super cool catalogue! Oh, and I LOVE the Flinstones! My dad loves GI Joe. Wow, I'm sure the items that you showed in this catalogue is worth quite a bit? I didn't know that they made outfits for the GI Joe line. big like! 6 Have a great weekend friend.💖💖

Thank you for watching. I have more vintage Hasbro catalogs from the 1970s and also Mattel catalogs from late 1960s, that I'll do vids on in future. Vintage GI Joe figures and sets can sell for hundreds to over a $1000 depending on scarcity and demand. Collecting is a fun hobby!😊

Great stroll down memory lane. Must have been 1975 or ‘76 Christmas I got the Trouble Shooter and had the mummy’s tomb Sears set w Heli and that was a huge Gi Joe fun time....but very soon after I was into rock and roll and it wasn’t cool back then to like your toys....probably why I became a collector later in life. I missed my Gi Joes. Star Wars tended to overshadow EVERYTHING by then. But I always have very fond memories of my “under ten yrs old” life. Thinking that you’re too old for toys at 12 yrs old in 1977 was a true shame. I hid my toys from my friends later on. I still liked them. Great video 👍

Thanks for watching. 1975 I still got a couple of small accessories at store like chest winch. Stuff was stored in boxes until 1993 when I started collecting vintage toys.

I experienced the same progression. I, too, missed them later in life spending a lot of $ collecting them "back" beginning in '92.

What a fascinating artifact! This must be rare indeed! I'm guessing very few store owners kept this. I had one of the Defender figure (a cheap way to build up your squad) and the big plastic tank. It was actually well made I thought, with moving tracks, turning turret and the gun could be elevated if I remember correctly. The tank did look ridiculously small beside the official G.I. Joe Jeep, but I still liked it. I just pretended it was a light tank! Haha! This was exacly the period when I played with G.I. Joes. I remember the camo jumpsuit and the very cool trench knife! And the first one next to the display box (not the second spy outfit you showed later with the mask), a simple brown spy outfit (again, not the one with the trench coat) with a sub-machine gun you could assemble with parts from inside the green attache case. Very cool, but the case was very fragile (it broke not long after I got it) and the small detachable parts of the gun were tiny and easily got lost. I remember my brothr had the woodsman kit on th next page with the chainsaw. I also had the classic Spy Island kit and the on next to it, Danger of the Depths with the orange rubber diving suit and cool gray shark. Thank you for showing this! And all of it, not just the ever so cool G.I. Joe stuff. I have to get me copy of this! It has all my childhood G.I. Joe stuff!

Hope you can check out my Daredevil Punisher drawing. These retailer catalogs are indeed rare but a wonderful resource of actual info on the toyline. That tank is called the Iron Knight tank. I have other years of these catalogs I'll post as time goes on. Adventure Team '70s such a good memory toyline, Thanks for watching!😊
