Night Creeper is a South East Asian ninja. Those weapons are real. Mostly weapons based on Keris.

Night Creepers are a secret corporate mercenary organization employing martial arts and cutting edge tech. They don’t have a canonical southeast Asian connection, at least not in ARAH.

8:36 finally, something to use those little rope ties hasbro used when they were going plastic-less packaging. 🤭

Enemy Mine is an underrated 80s SciFi IMO. The Drac are the aliens.

I just ordered this new classified night creeper. I also have a couple of the origins versions that I painted the camo onto. Great video sir.

Thanks Lawrence. Glad to hear it’s a solid figure. He was a character that came after my time in the original o-ring line. I was initially not interested, but like a few other figures, he’s grown on me and I will probably get him, or five, at some point.

Even thought the butterflies arnt the best, I still like having them to get some different shoulder positions, And I find myself really missing them on figures that have no butterfly at all. I wish it was better but appriciate what is there! Nice review totally creepy

I have to say that I am impressed how you got him to stand on one foot in that pose. My hat's off to you, brother!! Also, another great video!

Great review of a great figure! I vividly remember picking up the original in Wallgreens way back in 1991. I'm glad they included the head for the 1993 Night Creeper. I'd love to see a Night Creeper leader (DIC- style and Battle Corps) at some point.

The swords are based on the kriss daggers if I'm not mistaken and the knives are a take on the karambit used in silat I love the style for an offensive and defensive use blade. Very effective in attacking soft targets and joints

Its an awesome figure with a great number of accessories. Major plus that he can store all his weapons. Two cool head sculpts. But he would need better torso articulation for him to contend for Classified figure of the year.

Those swords are based on ancient Southeast Asian Weapons, particularly Indonesian, Filipino and Malaysian. The Kris a wavy sword is a mostly stabbing sword. It’s wavy because it easier to pull out of its victim and the wavy swords acts as a saw to cause more damage as stab and withdraw

That is totally a 00 snake eyes hand. The first few waves had huge pegs. It wasn’t until the cobra officer, spirit etc waves that they shrunk them down a ton. Then they went somewhere in the middle after that.

Wavy bladed swords have historical backing and the wounds created by them are vicious. But the Christmas tree bladed sword… I haven’t seen anything historically like that. There are all kinds of serrated, or jagged bladed swords. Which are also vicious, but not real practical as they are hard to keep sharp and hard to keep from catching and breaking.
@corneilusmcgillicuddy6 ай бұрын
I am by no means an expert, but the wavy bladed sword is based on the moro kris which comes out of south east Asia, (Java.) As I said before I'm no expert, but I'm almost certain that the "Christmas tree," sword as you called it 😂 is based on the the Seven-Branched Sword, (or Chiljido,) piggy backing on what you said earlier it was a ceremonial sword.

Hellz yeah they are, I see them in movies all the time.
@corneilusmcgillicuddy6 ай бұрын
Ninjas are indeed real considering the fact they were spies. I wouldn't be surprised if intelligence operatives are still taught techniques and fighting systems that were used in feudal Japan.

That knock off one kinda looks like a female version next to hasbros
@Apunkwithtoys6 ай бұрын
It’s not a knock off, it’s from the Snake Eyes movie. It actually has a nice design, bad articulation tho.
