Great thorough review, Chris. Still waiting on mine to ship from Pulse. Ok, I can’t believe on a GI Joe Classified figure review im gonna talk about True Detective season(series) 1. That season was excellent, bar none one of my favorite seasons of a TV show all time. A slow burn until about episode 3/4 then it gets intense. Ok, Chris I’ll stop. Keep the videos coming

I loved season 1. Can you see what I mean about the boar mask giving off that eerie True Detective vibe? I actually liked season 2 as well, despite it's flaws, I found a lot to like. I literally just watched Night Country recently too, and while it doesn't live up to Season 1 I thought Jodie Foster was great in it. She rarely disappoints.

Definitely picking him up. Damn 🎉🎉🎉🎉 a truly scary part on road pig is that skull...its a childs size skull. Once u notice it u cant unsee it.

LOL for sure. "I ain't fighting the dude who decorates his outfit with real skulls"! Did you read the Skybound series Cobra Commander? The Dreadnoks were definitely darker & edgier in that comic book than we've really seen proper before. There's a pretty dark torture scene and some mean-ass combat.

The shipping on this line has been janky from the start. I mentioned on another comment below that the move by Hasbro to make Classified a Pulse exclusive over here has meant that the independents have been sourcing their stock from East Asia. It's a blessing and a curse - I a little more to support the independents so its a bit more costly, but we often see stock here in the UK before the curve. I empathise - I've got pre-orders I've been hanging on for for aaaaages now, so I get it. I truly do.

It is a new body , the GI joe team mentioned that it was a completely new body . I'm excited to get him I never heard about him since I never read all the comic books where he appeared nevertheless I can't wait to add him to my Classified collection.Great unboxing and review video Chris 👍

ZZ here: Road Pig looks awesome for the most part and I’m def gonna pick him up…but I just don’t get how the design team could overlook things like the shield or the meat hook not fitting. Also I think Hasbro should just stick to ab crunches at this point. With the exception of Retro Scarlett, every other Joe with a diaphragm joint I’ve owned has had basically nonexistent ab articulation. I don’t want to have to dremel out every figure

Hey ZZ, how's it going man. And to your point about the undersized gear... Right!?!? It's so random. It means there must have been a decision moment where someone said "yeah, don't worry about it, just bang 'em in the box", which is not cool when you think about it. The diaphragm is an interesting one. I prefer how it looks, but like you I fid it limits the articulation too much.

WTF!!! I just got Retro Coco today and I was excited to get a quick pose and throw it up on IG… then you show up with this guy…… Raptor… Alpine.. Iron G… Dude.. I’m Jelly! 🤣🤣 Great review. It felt different bc he’s not a typical soldier and different articulation. You had to be thorough and you were! Oct 18&21 is when I’m supposed to get RP & Raptor.. The standard wave is due out 12/1… OY! Cheers!

The move to make Classified a Pulse exclusive over here has been a blessing and a curse - the figures are more expensive through the independent retailers, but they import them from Asia so we get them quick sometimes.

Hoping for a retro carded one that is truer to the original. Have him on a beefy muscular buck with the original look. This is the GI Joe team straying into modernized art deco again like how it all started and it didn't go well. People want the originals the most!!!! Lets imagine this was an early release into GI Joe classified; I think people would be like WTF is this? Because it strays too far from the original, but that's also why I think we'll get a different retro one. Cool dog though!

Interesting. I'm go both ways on the line - sometimes I want the nostalgia, sometimes the modern re-interpretation turns me on. Often it's a good blend that works for me. Road Pig is full on re-interpretation and it works for me, but I get that it won't work for everyone. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that the retro carded OG style Road Pig comes along. :)

I really appreciate all the detail they've put into him - maybe I'm just nitpicking after another year of figure avalanche from Hasbro. Seeing how these deluxe w/pet figures have been hitting clearance prices, I'm planning to just hold off for now.

could've done without the dog and hook and shield to get a cheaper figure. Knowing he can't even hold two of those items very well, just makes it more pointless.
