Amazing 777s, A350s, and 787 that dwarfed the Avianca A319.

Thank-you again for another most entertaining delivery. This is your buddy from the States, Guerry. I was somewhat lazy this time and pretty much viewed your video from the standpoint of entertainment. So unless it was blatantly obvious to me, I do not have a lot to point out. That was a great moonrise, but the thing that initially captured my attention was the building "Point Click Care". At first I thought, "What is so important about a healthcare clinic, and what am I missing?" Then I focused on the moon. Of course, I had a few choice words for myself... I think the idea of having a partner on the other end of the runway would be a nice thing to try. It would entail more work when it came to editing, but I think the effects would look nice, provided you worked with someone who knew what he was doing. Of course, if you really wanted to be creative, solicit another team member to poke his lens through the chain linked fence on the other side of the road. By the way, isn't the 6L end of the runway where there is the sign that says, "Free Coffee"? About the only techno-geek-airplane thing I noticed was that the KLM 777 was a much older aircraft than the others you videoed. It did not have the raked wingtips, which were added to the 777 back in 2004 (I think...). A while back I did a relatively comprehensive study on wingtip lift devices. In short, the raked wingtips were best suited for long distance cruise performance, whereas the other types improved climb and descent performance. Again, thank-you for your video. I always keep an eye out for your next posting.

Hi Guerry, as always, thank you for watching! It means a lot to see you liked it! I'm also glad you liked my shot of the moon rising above the Point Click Care building, the moon definitely impressed that night. Yes, that is a great idea and something I want to try someday. I believe you're thinking of the 24R end because that's where Coffee Time is, where I'm shooting from is the 06L end and there's no conveniences near......thanks Toronto Pearson! That's an interesting observation you made about raked wingtips. I also did a college essay on winglets, raked wingtips, fences, etc. and your comment reminded me of the good ol' days of college. Thanks again for watching my video! :)

This was great! I beleive your on 24R. If you could get a buddy, stationed at the end of 24R capturing the roll out on to 24 R all the way to rotation. Combine both clips as this would provide great footage. Just saying

That's a good idea, I'll have to try that at some point! This is 06L, opposite end of 24R but yeah, I think it can work

I definitely have to check this spot out, only other spots I've been are airport road at the Wendy's and the parking lot at the end of these two runways.
@RossAviationWorld3 жыл бұрын
It sure is a great spot, but I advise you, if you park your car along the side of the road, the cops may come and ask you to leave. So what I do is park my car at a trail parking lot which is a 15 min walk (2 min drive) from the spot.

@@RossAviationWorld ah that's how you get there, I looked on Google maps and was trying to figure it out. How's it look when there landing on 06L or 06R from there?
