Nice one. I wasnt aware that Giana Sisters was ported to the Plus 4. Looks great, didnt think it would be possible to pull it off on a Plus 4 with its limitations. Well done.

gern geschehen, ich teile dein Video gerne bei Tribel..ich selbst kam ursprünglich vom VC 20 und später ab 1989 vom Amiga Computer, schöne Zeiten..

@@sandrodellisanti1139 Vielen Dank fürs Teilen auf Tribal. Der Vic 20 ist ein toller Computer. Habe auch ein video fuer ihn gemachr wo ich einen Cylon Raumschiff aus Battlestar Galactica rendere. Mein erster Computer war ein Commodore Plus/4 daher findest du auch viele Videos zu dem Computer hier. Was ist Tribal eigentlich?

Coole Sache, ich habe hier von Battlestar 1978-80 die ganze Serie auf Blu-ray.. ich habe erst vor wenigen Monaten ein Desktop Wallpaper für den Amiga mit Blender 3D erstellt.. Tribel ist ein recht neues soziales Netzwerk, so wie Facebook ..

Great stuff. I'm loving the continuation of 8-bit game development. It's strangely refreshing after putting up with the dross that is the modern so-called 'triple A' gaming industry.

I think so too. These games are timeless fun. You don't need always to have 'triple A' effects to have a good time with a game. See my "Cops n' robbers" review..

Old games were those in which you has your fantasy improving the gameplay to get an awesome experience with no monster graphics 😅 imo modern triple A are made only for money and guys who don't know what was the real fun..

Plus4 has only a single color attribute per tile ( extended color mode is kinda broken ). So we have the blue background and black and white as global palette. In front of the bush it looks like the attribute color is chose in a sophisticated way by majority vote after priority. Only horizontal scrolling, but this color looks better than Majesty of Sprites or Pet Rescue , where the background always wins.

The color of background object cannot win in this situation, because the skin color of the player and the bush color would collide (both of them are sharing the same character color) and the player would turn green. I have modelled that situation too in the early development phase and I selected to use the current method to eliminate (or at least reduce) the negative effects of color clash. And the icing on the cake is that the bush contains lot of hi-res characters and the player sprite is multicolor. There is an "on-demand" color correction on the bush (in effect when the player crosses any hires object) to avoid the accidental appearance of foreign $ff16/17 color pixels in the bush.

I have played Gianna's sisters on the ds. It was a fantastic game and I'm not a fan of the modern Gianna sisters.
