Gianni Mascolo - Guardando il sole (Switzerland ESC 1968)

How immensely likeable Gianni is. Fresh with tangerine suit and almost matching glasses for 1968 colour. Such a great voice and what enthusiasm. Rather than 'just 2 points' I prefer to think that at least this was a couple of people's favourite. 1968 had so many very strong contenders and pre-contest bias was a factor. It is nice that every artist received at least one 'best song' vote from someone.

Only 2 points! Really unfair! Even though I prefer the recorded version I still think it was one of the best entries from ESC 1968
