I know him. He used to own State Street Restaurant at Commercial Center across the street from my office in 1984. His girlfriend at that time was Dionne Warwick and his singer. During that time Las Vegas was small. Everyone almost knew each other. We used to go there on the weekends for dinner and dancing. I saw so many celebrities hang out there and were treated like normal people.Las Vegas was a lot safer when the MAFIA runs the town.

The Marilyn Monroe facts are highly questionable. Marilyn died the weekend of Aug. 4/5 1962. He said she was killed on a Tuesday. It is not certain if she died late Saturday or early Sunday because the police weren't called until around 3 or 4 Sunday morning Aug. 5.

My father had polio in 1912 at age 2. His brother would massage his limbs. They did not expect him to live but one morning he rolled out and crawled into the living area. Many doctors stated he was the worst case they had ever seen that survived. He shredded his clothes until he figured out a way to use homemade crutches. Again, the doctors were stymied. He attended a quaker school, got a degree in English and went on to live a productive inspirational life. He was the greatest father a girl could ever have.

Russo was not born until 1937, if he was 16 when Marilyn Monroe (born 1926) at 28 (in 1954) took his virginity. But later he says that after he got polio at age five, he was quarantined for five years until 1949. Then he says that in 1958 he was "15" (born 1943) when a truant officer hounded him. His years don't cohere, anecdote to anecdote ... until you Wikipedia him and see that his birth was in December 1942. So his only error was in in saying M.M. was "28" at their encounter, when she was 33.
