When jokic averaged 25 on 60 last season it was the talk of the league. Everyone was astonished. Giannis one ups it with 30 on 62 and it’s crickets. It literally isn’t mentioned outside of bucks-centered reporters. He 100% gets disrespect from media. I’ve noticed he also gets a lot of disrespect from fans of other elite players. It’s as if they feel that admitting Giannis is excellent is synonymous with admitting their favorite player isn’t better than Giannis. All around ODD. But whatever 🤷‍♀️

What I love the most about Giannis is that he manifested his destiny. Giannis wasn’t a top prospect out of high school or college. We didn’t track him for years before his nba debut. No one really thought Giannis could be this good. I think that’s the most amazing part. Everything you see this man do on the court is 100% the result of his hard work and determination.

Giannis gets bashed for “run and dunk man” but casuals don’t know he’s expanded his game from just running and dunking . He’s got a lil middy and can shoot the 3 at a decent percentage , but he just uses what’s more unstoppable and that’s his driving game .

Help me understand this! Jokic goes his career starting as a pretty damn good passer, abd today he’s known as the best passing big man ever, but giannis dunking isn’t a skill? 1 giannis is adding the phenomenal passing ability way more this year than ever, meaning he’s working really hard for it, but then you got jokic who’s just as tall as giannis yet he can’t jump with this man nor can think about dunking like this man, how is it not a skill??

Defensive bigs become the center of the league ( Russell, Unseld, Hayes, Reed, Cowens, old Chamberlain) and it's not that much entertaining.
