Giannis honestly made me wanna watch basketball again, and even though I'm a Maverick's fan I got absolutely nothin' but love and respect for Giannis. Between him and Luca I've found a new love of basketball all over again after years and years of just not enjoying it as much. Edit: I love how at 6:03 Giannis is telling his mom and dad that "in 15, maybe 20 years my number will be up there". There's no doubt in my mind young man, you are a special talent and even more special person. What you've already brought to Milwaukee has earned your name and number in the rafters.

So much so that my friend who doesn’t watch basketball told me that he would never have thought that he was a celebrity because of how he carried himself. He looked to be doing something important but was patient, understanding, calm and even took time to take photos with the airport employees. I won’t ever forget that, he has my utmost respect.

I've been waiting for this video for awhile Giannis is something special. He is one of the few current players that is on pace for the top 10 even top 5 of all time. On top of this I want people to understand something. Giannis has a very good chance of ending his career as the only player in NBA history to win multiple championships, multiple Finals MVPs, multiple Season MVPs (doesn't really matter since he has 2 already), and finally multiple Defensive Player of the Year awards. No one else has done that, not even Kareem or Jordan or Lebron or Shaq or any of the other all time greats. Not to mention Giannis already only 1 of 3 players to even have a Finals MVP, Season MVP, and DPOY the other two are Hakeem and MJ. Thats not bad company to be in a conversation with.

It's very refreshing to see a NBA superstar that actually shows loyalty to a franchise and isn't joining his buddies in free agency to form a super team. He sets the example for his team by playing hard and not taking time off on the court. If you notice he's not getting the respect he deserves from former and current NBA players. This is a result of his loyalty and hustle, which by comparison make his detractors look bad.

Giannis is an example of a true humble killer who came from nothing (but did not grow up around ''thugs'' and wannabee gangsters with irresponsible parents) and therefore always knew that it was his responsibility to work hard and givce back to his parents and family who have done everything to put him into this position. He is one of those people who will never forget where they come from. He has principles and truly gives back to the community. He'd rather stay and give the city that drafted him everything than go to a super team or to a team who offers him much more salary. ''Humble'' is overused nowadays, but Giannis is a true example of being humble. His championship alone is worth ten times more than the two championships of KD for example. Giannis is a true great and among the greatest to ever play the game. He will never get the credit or recognition he truly deserves especially in america, since he is not american, but those who are unbiased know to appreciate his legendary greatness. Both from a character and player standpoint.
