I really wish the Bucks traded there first plus stuff to get a better big. I think they really fumbled the bag this year at the trade deadline. As much as I like that Brook can shoot great its just tough having a big that gets like 3-4 rebounds a night. These games with Giannis out are going to be big big games here. Hopefully Dame and bobby can carry here. You're definitely right though the playoff seeding is going to be tough, hopefully we are not a play-in team

Giannis played through a calf strain for a lot of last season. That ultimately led to the soleus strain which took him out of the playoffs. Khris hasnt been healthy last couple of years in the regular season as well so the workload has been crazy on him. Let him rest. The East is TRASH. We'll easily make the playoffs without Giannis.

In the past few AllStar games we have seen Butler and Durant sit out. I wish this is a carefully planned rest. Or a small tightness that could have been just a two game out as we first thought, but the medical team convinced Giannis to extend it for the long game.

Bucks will be just fine. Giannis is expected to be ready after allstar break. It’s not all doom and gloom. Seems like we are just taking extra precaution with this. It’s listed as a mild strain. I suspect the team wants to rest Giannis throughout the break. Framing the injury as Giannis is out for additional weeks is a bit miss leading. He’ll miss the final couple games before break and the allstar game. However, he’s getting damn near a month off if you factor the allstar break. Nothing to see here. Bucks are just taking additional precautions, which I’m cool with.

Look it isn't that deep. Giannis overplayed last season and it led to him being injured right before playoffs. This time it is clear that they want Giannis to rest more.
