Thanks for this. Several screws left though as I couldnt quite get things to line up after. Also don’t know what you did with the snippy pliers. I didn’t need to use or see need. I replaced inside handle successfully. That works now so MOT should pass this time. That’s main thing. Big loose metal bar inside the door but don’t see the issue if it’s loose hah.

Why do you unscrew the two window holders?

They are mounted to the door panel

@@P3r1s0l They are not. I unscrewed them and had huge problems to put them back on place. Do not unscrew!

@@exp0sedbass412 I asked my wife and mom for help. Mom was holding window up, wife put screw in place and I was holding holders in place... It took like 2-3 hours to fit everything back... if you leave it unscrewed, window opening wont work.

Had the Same Problem but long before i changed speaker. Its the Protection That no Finger or Something like that can be stucked in window. My mechanican meaned to oil it or „reset“ window controlls

you have to connect the door panel with the window holders and the bottom long torx screws not all the way screwed in before putting them back to the car, then you insert top first and then you push the whole thing up so the bottom side gets in , if you did it correctly it should be aligned for both top and bottom sides. I did it today on a customers car, so its still fresh in my mind cheers!

DenDenMushiii thank you ! Also a tip , some time the main screw holding the handle to the door in the middle sometimes does not go in, this is because you need to pull back the plate it is being screwed in

dont attempt this there are no videos that talk about the reinstallation. i broke my window, the panel fell out 3 different times this week. if you’re reading this after you’ve started, consider looking into buying a new car👍

If you are thinking of attempting this yourself DONT! Very easy to take off, but to get it all back on how it should be is an absolute nightmare. Pay to get it done trust me

Do not touch 2 screws that guy is removing at 3:00!!! These are drivers and are not necessary to remove the panel. Thanks to this movie I just wasted like an hour trying to put brackets back again!

I can not get the top bolts to aline that are connect to the window, the bolt half gos in then pops back out

Danke für dein video, ich hatte das Prozedere schon 5 mal, seit ich das auto NEU gekauft habe ist 5 mal das fenster aus der halterung gefallen das gummiteil ist dabei vom fenster gezogen worden. aber das wäre nicht das schlimme. der konstrukteur gehört hinter die verkleidung gesperrt der sowas konstruiert die schienen des fensterhebesr mit der türverkleidung zu verschrauben einfach grenz genial dämlich und dann noch den fensterheber motor an die türverkleidung zu schrauben grenzt an genaiale hirnlosigkeit
