That was super freakin' cool. I saw a sculptor who specializes in making these way-too-big people and it was waaaaay freaky because they were hyper realistic. I wish I could remember his name. One he did was of a large man wearing nothing but underwear (or maybe he was naked. It's been a while) sort of squatting in a corner looking crazy. It was truly bizarre.

What material did you guys use for your hero skin?

My best guess is that it's a urethane expanding foam. It's not latex foam and it appears to be much lighter than a silicone foam. This is a display piece and so it has to be durable and last a long time and a urethane foam is good for that. That's my bet.
