If you want a very good insect deck, try beetrooper battlewasps, very consistent and fun deck that can occassionally beat meta decks. It has multiple extenders and searchers so you rarely brick with it.

Ballpark is one of my best decks I play on nexus which considering I’m not big on counting on one card because consistency I just love that there’s this actually really good insect deck it’s ability to recover/otk/set disruption is nuts thanks to ease of ex deck with ballpark

I like having a Gravedigger's Trap Hole and Traptrix Rafflesia in this deck. It can give you that extra 2000 damage you need after you attack with three of your Shiny Black "C" Squadder.

You should add in Scary Moth to lock your opponent out of special summons. Easy to get out if you use insect imitation with primitive butterfly

@@somerandomweeb9551 I'd generally run 2 insect imitation, 2 primitive butterfly (as it's an insect cyber dragon) and 1 scary moth.

@@somerandomweeb9551 forgot to mention if you run 2 block spider aswell you can get the insect queen block. With both insect queen and block spiders on the field none of your insects can be targeted

Interesting deck, could you consider doing a Tindangle deck? They're a semi modern flip archetype with a beat down/swarm focus but I can't find a lot of builds for them online.

Surprised you didnt run picofalena, a link two when summoned lets you equip any insect from your deck to any monster you control, making cocoon even easier to use
