For people wondering about the needle vs the comedone extractor here is my experience. I have really sensitive skin that tends to be on the drier side. A comedone extractor has caused my skin to tear. The needle method seems to relieve much of the pressure involved in pushing the gunk out and no scarring ir tearing is involved.

If I had used an extractor, the session would have ended before it began, he would have jumped off the table and still be running away from me. His experience with an extractor was not very nice in the past. Perhaps this method is not the fastest, but it is less traumatic and I assure you he will repeat with me.
