N64 sucked, worst main console ever from the big 4. Gamecube had 10+ good exclusives, N64 has 4 and thats only if you have a low bar for quality. Wii and WiiU do both indeed suck but N64 is worse.

Conker's bad furday, the original smash bros. All the hit and miss 3D0 games that had awful PS1 versions of them. Majora's Mask T_T the list is so long on how many great games were made for that system. I'm still haunted by the PS1's version of Sarge's heroes. It was so bad compared to the N64 version, despite having cinematics (but all cinematics did was high light how cringe 3D0's sense of humor was).

Nintendo consoles worse than N64: Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Switch

I think I like the Gamecube better then the N64 overall but I will freely admit, the N64 is a disappointment in some ways that retroactively could've been addressed without dramatically changing the console itself. They had a year where the system came out with like 8 games despite being late to the party because they believed the gaming audience would wait for the console (they were wrong) over the Playstation. They wasted resources developing and making games for the DD which was pointless and wasted valuable R&D time. They made the Virtual Boy (when even Sega dodged that technology at a time Sega was being known for making dumb in-between gen decisions) and didn't make games that used its technology to justify the in between era of the SNES/N64. They made add-ons they would only support with a couple games instead of spending that time either justifying them, or using that time more wisely for the consoles chances. These are fixable things that don't go against the identity of the console or dramatically change it. The N64 has a small library with games still absolutely worth playing though that I still turn on till this day ( we just played Mario Party 2 last night) and it needs to be respected for that. Like to fix the Gamecube you'd have to do something like give it a DVD disc drive, or from the start cut costs like not putting in a pointless component cable slot less then 1% of the buying audience used. Don't add the online option/slot when you absolutely wont support it. Don't use the GBA as some weird console->handheld nonsense. Just little cost saving measures, or spending the money to actually benefit the audience. Don't be the "weird guy" but also pretend your shooting for higher specs for the power gamer. The N64 issues you can fix readily without taking away from the console by contrast. The Gamecube was kinda screwed on perception from minute one especially when the juggernaut that was the PS2 was riding high through the generation. Still some all time games though, including some better entries that succeeded the N64.
