@@vecna00 Even more so with the very near future in mind of video game websites largely being extinct. Chronicling this era (15ish-20 years) of gaming websites and traditional game journalism will be so much more important to tell the story of and contextualize for the future generations who won't understand because the world will be so different. It already is. More and more people get their information from Tik Tok and Snapchat. Documenting GB and all the transformative works from the 2000's for games media is imperative.

Same here. They were the only group of games media people that seemed authentic, and sadly that largely remains true today. I totally understand them wanting to change things up though. I doubt most 40 year olds want to react to things on camera for a living, and none of them intended to end up in this line of work in the first place. But that’s where the authenticity came from, and their unique situation makes it unlikely we’ll ever quite get a similar group of folks again.

I work Wednesday-thursday. I pick up my kids from school and I know giant bomb is about to drop. I save it for my morning on Wednesday, and throughout that day. Then a day or so later I get my beastcast. It's my workweek. Ugh. Love these guys.

Put off watching this for days cuz I didn't want to deal with Brad leaving and then they hit me with a triple whammy. Brought a tear to my eye. Truly grateful for all you've done (all of you, not just the ones leaving or have already left) and genuinely sad to see you guys go. Best wishes for the future and God bless!

I’m 25 and have been listening and watching for about half of my life now. These three folks have meant a lot to me in the work they have done with this site. Early on Brad’s great patient interjections of great jokes influenced a lot of how I’ve interacted with some of my favorite friends I’ve made. Alex’s tastes in music and movies have brought me to so much great art. And of course Vinny has been an amazing model of a kind and joyful person and just an all-around good dude that I always strive to emulate in my life. I will miss seeing them with Giant Bomb, but I know I will happily continue to follow their careers wherever they go. I wish you all the best! o7

Best wishes to you guys. It's hard to even put into words what Giant Bomb has meant to me over the years, very much because of the hard work Alex, Brad & Vinny have put into it. This news hit me so hard yesterday that I didn't really know how to respond. I hope you guys (or whoever's running this YT channel) know how grateful we all are for all the hard work and entertainment over the years. The site became a constant for me over the years and that doesn't just happen out of nowhere. You guys helped build something really special that always managed to put a smile on my face, even during some rough times in my life and I genuinely am forever grateful for that. I'm excited to see where the site goes next, but it definitely won't be the same without you guys. I hope you find lots of success and happiness in whatever you do next.

My heart really hearts. I started watching GB at the beginning but it wasn't till the endurance run that I became a regular. I watched every video they put out for years. I mostly just listen to the podcast and specific videos now but it doesn't make this hurt any less. Can't wait to see how GB can adapt and what these three guys go on to do. GB has been a great place for people to come to and then springboard off to something else- I guess I just never thought Brad, Vinny or Alex would be one of those to leave... Not till the end...
