It's a Himalayan Bull Tahr, good on you guys he looks Awesome. These animals were released in Mt Cook 1904. & Now they are classified a pest, "DOC Cull operation 2020", which is a waste of a great resource..

Nice bull! I was going to my blind a few years back and about 70yrds from my spot I see a whitetail buck looking right at me. Now I had a coffee cup in one hand and my gun in the other, I slowly crouched down, put the coffee down, sighted him and pulled the trigger and flipped him on his back. The interesting thing is I was aiming at his left shoulder quartering toward me but the bullet hit him in the right shoulder so he was wheeling around as I shot 😀😲
