Thanks a lot for the generous comment. Because this is a small channel, a sub would be really helpful. I do think Allez is a better bike than the Contend 2 and Allez Sport than the Contend 1. Having said that contend is pretty decent too.

If looking at all round bike, something I would ride for fast short rides as well as Endurance rides then Contend 2. If for Strictly Endurance riding with an Upright position then Domane AL2.

Size S. No doubt. For either bike. Would u ride gravel or just pavement 90% of the time? If pavement 90% time then Contend SL (tyre clearance of 32mm sufficient). If you will ride light gravel sometimes then Contend AR (if you need extra tyre clearance upto 40mm). If you want to talk in detail you can Whatsapp call at [phone]. But given the info you gave me here...this is the verdict I could give. Size S in both bikes. 100%.

@@ronitdebnath great video on the different variants of Contend. I’m considering getting the Content AR1. Based on height (169cm), I should be getting size S. But based on standover height (75cm inseam), size XS appears to be more suitable. Which size should I choose? I will be riding mainly road/pavement and I like the larger tire clearance of AR in case I want to put a wider tire for more comfort. Thanks!
