Semi-unrelated to this vid specifically but gg earlier, pretty sure you were Gravelording in Anor Londo and you pushed my shit in a bunch (I was the Smough cosplayer. Smoughsplayer?). Looked you up after to see if you had any vids and it's been really cool. I'm a noob invader so it is neat to see how the stuff you were doing to me looks from your PoV. (I did black crystal out a few times later but I promise it wasn't a rage thing, was just trying to get back to doing "normal" invasions since I was just having fun messing around as Mini-Smough in Anor Londo, it admittedly was a little frustrating but also very impressive lol)

Hey man, ggs! Yeah it was me indeed, I tried some Anor Londo gravelording for a change yesterday and was suprised that it was somewhat active, with 2 invaders and some blue guys around. I have around 4k, maybe even 5k hours into PvP by now so yeah no shame in losing :) the game has so much techs and little quirks, it can be overwhelming at first

If you pivot while the attack connects it overwrites the knockback, meaning you can still move freely. Fun little gimmick, a variation of the perfect block!

Those rolls and dead angle hits cant be done in remaster right?

This clips are from the playstation remastered version, you can still do all the tech rolls in this, but yeah they removed the dead angles, did you spot a situation in this video where it looks like I dead angled someone?

Barrel and reverse rolls can still be done, but sadly dead angles and ghost strikes got removed. I miss dead angles. Ghost strikes not so much. (Ghost strikes for some reason being a different thing than phantom hits.)

I haven't played this game in over 8 years and never played the remaster, is toggling not a thing anymore? genuinely surprised to see some of the people your fighting kitted out in minmaxed gear not "playing the way they look" when I see a havelmom i expect certain kinds of things to happen, could just be a lot of elden ring/ds3 players going through the game for the first time
