This is from our trip to Seward, Alaska fishing with off the dock charters. We were targeting Yelloweye and black rockfish with grub tail and diamond jigs. Rockfish are one of the slowest growing fish in the ocean and can reach over a 100 years old. Yelloweye rockfish are often nicknamed alaskan goldfish!

Alaska has a charm of it's own. I was surprised with how the mountains come straight out of the ocean. Not a beach or much of a shoreline along Alaska that I visited. When you venture into the wood's you are part of the food chain. Packing a side arm that has some kick is a good idea. Great place to visit. Hard place to live.

I do want to say watching you two grill.. and have the opportunity to be in the outdoors and not do the lavish plates is really refreshing. This is what it’s like to camp and enjoy nature in pnw. When you booked the fishing trip, is the cabin part of a package "fishing and lodging or is it booked separately. I've always wanted to (and will someday) fish in Alaska but didn't know how to plan a trip like that. Anyway, thank you for the great videos. Very cool content.
