That's about 100 yards away from where I caught my first ten pounder. . . . about 30 years ago. I haven't seen many like that in the upper lake recently at all. Well done!

I’ve been waiting for a comment like this! Thanks for posting this. I know there have been beasts caught here in the past. I was wondering if anybody with that kind of history here has seen anything this big recently. Thanks for sharing

@@wake-n-fish2545 I netted a friend's first ten pounder not far from there too. That was in . . . 1987. History indeed. As big as your fish is, it looked to me like it may have already laid the eggs? Hard to say for sure and they come in all different body types, but the mouth on your fish is beyond ridiculous. H-U-G-E, like you could nearly put both fists in there. Oh yeah, the adrenaline/shaking thing is for real.

@@wake-n-fish2545 well I got skunked with the large mouth, but messed around with some powerbait at the boat launch and got my limit with rainbows!

@@patricktremblay7618 yeah it’s that time of year. I usual go out and through gold and red spoons. The trout can’t resist it. It’s a fun way to catch them.

What I desire is a boat that is comfortable, I can wakeboard or pull kids on tubes, handle chop with ease and is fishable. Also my daughter wants to be a competitive wakeboarder. This is not my first boat and it won’t be my last but if there is one thing I have learned from boat ownership over the past 20 years is get as much use out of it as you can and I can guarantee you I use my boat more than 99% of boat owners. I customized it myself to work for exactly what I want. That’s it man! Never a bad trip on my boat bro!!!
