I live in a fish where we only have northern strain and ours get silver like that in cold. They don’t look like that because of the Florida strain. They look like that cause the northern strain in em. Florida strains are black.

Unfortunately, F1s dont have a long life expectancy much north of Tennessee. There are always a few exceptions but the cool weather does not help their life expectancy
