@@venom0825 Well that's not true is it? If you look at how we treat every species on this planet, including our own. We consider other living creatures as property. We hunt them, eat them, torture them, make clothes out of them, kill them for amusement, Experimentation, farming, and general animal.cruelty. If you cant recognise the awful things we do as human beings, you need to educate yourself.
@venom08252 жыл бұрын
@@dawnatkinson7704 so your just going to conveniently ignore all the good humanity does on the daily, all the the un name people that bust there a**s to help others? Hospitals, animals shelters, rescue centers, homeless shelter and many more. I'm not saying humanity is perfect, but it certainly isn't the prime evil all you edge lord keep crying it is, why don't you go educate your self, before you start judging an entire species with this haft a** argument. Besides my comment was pointing out how there is no other sentient race that we can compare are selves with, so its pretty pretentious to compare us with some make believe fantasy race. Ps. Animals do atrocities to each other all the time and yes some do it for fun too. So no, cruelty is not exclusive to humanity.

I found the story to be quite powerful. I wish there was a way to keep the monster captive at a garbage dump/zoo so that it could continue to eat the trash and have people look at it and have the kid periodically visit it. Until the people stop coming to see the freakish monster and the kid is the only one that still visits until he grows old and then dies in the monsters arms. And then the monster would have to go on living in the garbage dump without any visitors and eventually dies alone.

I think both parties act can be justifiable, when you see a giant monster, our first reactions would be fear and for protection. And it would be easy to also dismiss the child words as delusional and adding to the fact that you think he killed your friends. Imagine living peacefully and suddenly someone invade your nest and take away your child. And he never even actually killed them and even somehow protect them. I'm surprised by the fact that he didn't throw deadly attack at them, and he only attack to protect himself. All in all this is all due to miscommunication

This movie proves that we can sometimes create our own monsters within ourselves through our irresponsible or inchoate decision-making skills without even knowing the truth and regret our past actions and past decisions in life later in the end. I feel sad about the fact that the monster died in the hands of the real monsters (construction workers who were fed up by their monstrous and baseless revenge), which can resemble a mother (or someone) who can do and try anything to protect and save her child (or even those ones by blood or not related to her) despite how many challenges she encounters in her life, even sacrificing her own life for the sake of her child and loved ones.

Aw.... as humans we are often just dicks bc someone (or something) is different so we fear it and assume that someone (or something) is as evil, hateful, and dangerous as we are. Constantly projecting our fear, evil, hatefulness, on someone (or something) we don’t understand. We are the dangerous monsters!

A majority of things on Earth can and will kill us, not even because it is afraid but because we stepped in its territory. Or just because we interacted with it in some manner, like accidentally picking up a poisonous snail, or walking a little too close to a snake.

we are also animals , the only difference is we are much more superior because of intelligence . its not like we are going to believe a ground giant tentacle creature is going to be peaceful not to mention it kidnapped like 10 people instantly for coming across its area

But fearing the unknown is a basic survival instinct

@@GhostRider-mk5so yesyesyes, this too. It is a trait that I’m sure a majority of animals and living creatures have as well
