For a high-hold mustache wax I use Death Grip. Throw away the guitar pick that comes with it (unless you play guitar, then it's a free pick) and heat-up the wax with hair dryer for 10 seconds or so. Scoop the wax out with the back of your finger nail and apply to your mustache while using the hair dryer to keep it soft on your fingers and while you comb through and shape with your fingers. Take the heat away and in a few seconds you'll have a hold that not even a Class 4 tornado will disturb. Use your bear oil to remove the wax from your fingers as you style your beard.

I have a very wiry moustache that tends to be unruly. I have found that clubman's classic creme moustache wax works best for me for a couple reasons. One, I comb wax through the whole moustache to tame it. True waxes tend to pull out my hairs if it is too cold Two they lose their hold when my breath heats it from my nose.

Added tip: the ends of my moustache are very asymmetrical; one is curling neatly upwards and the other goes down. I use a blowdryer to put in the curl on the downward side. Out of the shower or just wetting it, then hold it in a curl just long enough to dry. If course, not too long that dries out your skin, but at low heat and just a little while. Your moustache dries quickly anyways. Works like a charm.

I like your philosophy. Grow it for your own reasons, to explorer, just to see what it looks like. What do you specifically consider a "gigantic" mustache? Until it's terminal? Until it's below your bottom lip? Just curious. For me, I used to trim it off of my upper lip but I think now I'll just let it go and see where it goes. Oh yeah, I need to start looking for some straws. 😛

The only thing thay bothers me, apart from my super patchy beard (my cheeks are almost empty, i have made peace with that), is that my mustache tends to grow in a curved fashion directly inside my mouth. Some men continue to gain facial hair into their 40s, especially for guys who were late bloomers growing up. But also don't be discouraged if you never have Eric's moustache because that's pretty much the best case scenario and most of us never get there. I'm 25 with a dense full beard, which I've had since I was 15, however my stache still isn't as thick as Eric's. But like he said, if you can grow a very LONG stache (which I'm now doing) that'll get you the big stache too. You'd be surprised what growing it below your bottom lip and swooping it out like Eric shows does for even a medium thickness stache

@@daveco1stfor me its the opposite my sides and neck are strong but my mustache is very weak, should I keep shaving the peach fuzz (light baby hairs) so it comes back thick and dark? it’s been the same for 4 years, guessing it’s because I didn’t shave it I am 18 now

@abdelhadijaara2870 you just need more time, my stache came in heavy as a teen but the beard didn't really hit till my late twenties

@abdelhadijaara2870 that's really just a myth. A lot of times what's happening is they appear to be coming in thicker because now they are all the same length. Facial hair gets better with age and your genetics will determine what you get and when.

First time I've grown mine out Eric. From what I'm told I have a pretty good large stash. I'm divorced and been single for a few years Don't see much on women's reactions kissing and all that stuff with giant mustaches. Guess I got to wait for the woman who really digs it?
