@@bobthebuilder9416 Well you see, in essence a sandbox mode is the circumstances in which an individual is able to alter reality and laws of the game to one's favor with no to little restriction. Now, essentially what he does is that he utilizes the tools given to him by default (of being a scientist he has all these tools that he uses) and plays around with them, just as you would do in for example Minecraft creative mode. The faculty of reaching a higher standard of knowledge and excitement through the means of overpowered knowledge and skill is generally what is given to the player when first entering sandbox mode. Additionally, he is a scientist and have been studying science which explains his intellect in this. However he makes it look so easy and obvious as if he were to be in sandbox mode. That is my perception at least.

I have a question here. Do you feel the weight of the superconductor while holding the magnet ? So many good replies, thanks. Now flip the question like literally flip it, now you have a magnet at the bottom and a levitating magnet (not a superconductor) on top. How much weight/force would the bottom magnet experience if you put it on a scale. Will it be the sum of both magnets or the magnetic force between them will add/subtract something ??

What if you covered the neodymium magnet with a type 1 superconductor, and cooled it to its superconducting point? Would that create pressure on the superconductor, and is the magnet still able to be felt anymore (because the superconductor is holding the magnetic fields inside it and not letting it leave)? Edit: I’m in 8th grade and love the subject, but know so little about it, so if you know the answer and reply, I really appreciate your help and will be sure to thank you!

It be awesome if we could see what this expirement would look like with a thermal camera or a one of which you can see how the magnetic fields interact with each other.

1 Does placing an iron plate between the magnet and the superconductor have an effect? 2 Would Mu metal have an effect? 3 How about passing copper beneath the magnet?

What you said at 1:46 is indeed true, that experiment is indeed the *coolest* being cooled with liquid nitrogen.

Nice. Can you do same experiment - compare effect of heat conduction in vacuum and air by calculating time difference of 'drop of superconductor' when temperature is uniformly raise. You may flip your vacuum chamber at 90 degree and bring it to near edge of table to close it.

Is it me or the way the vapor smoke is coming out of that the type 2 superconductor also feels like it's moving with the magnetic impurities of this superconductor?

I would love to see this used in a magic trick. It would be great for close up evitation. Sit at a table that has a type 2 superconductor hidden under the table with a cooling system in place. Then give someone the magnet to put anywhere they want in the field. You need some story go along with it and a way to prove it can't be done with ordinary magnets. Your magnet could be an electromagnet too, so you could shut it off and it falls.
