Great fish there, Robbie. A rare fish indeed for northern Wisconsin, but well worth the effort. Dad and I were up fishing from 10/12 - 10/17 and raised some big fish, but no takers. We fished all new waters and concentrated on big fish low action lakes. I was hoping for a full moon fish like yours here on Thursday 10/17, but no takers. I did a lot of auto/live charting on these lakes while we were learning them, and that was really worthwhile. Water temps began around 56-57 and quickly dropped to 49-50 during the trip. There were signs of turnover for sure, and that didn't help us.

What a BEAST!!!! That fish’s weird split tail looks similar to another big fish you have caught. Could that be a fish that you’ve caught a different time? For some reason I want to say that the fish I remember was caught when Michael was in the boat.
