Right you are. We should have filmed more for this video but tough when you don't have a bite for 3 days then it starts raining.

I think from Team Rhino “toxic shad” or “lemon head” would be close enough to lemon tail for now , but older OG colors come back would be nice ! 👍

Where is this? Normally, when you do a road trip, you mention where you are, maybe not the lake name, but usually the state. So I wonder what new water this is. Do you think live sonar helps you actually catch more muskie? You talk about seeing them on sonar, but it seems that your catch rate doesn't actually increase. I know live sonar helps with walleyes and other species, but does it really catch more muskie? I'm not sure if it does. I personally haven't used it due to life circumstances. Healthy fish. 😊

I've got it on my boat. "Sniping" muskies really seems to be a waste of time. It's most useful for boat positioning and cast placement - perhaps for locating open water bait. Every now and then you'll get a ghost follow it picks up.
@thelonesomefisherman74252 ай бұрын
@VahnTitrio Thanks for your information. That's what I seem to notice in watching all the various fishing channels. The walleye guys can snipe with it, but for muskie fishermen, it doesn't seem to make much difference.

@@thelonesomefisherman7425 I'm thinking of switching mine to perspective next season just to make it easier to see follows. All it has told me this season is that vast majority of fish on the waters I fish weed relate, and livescope doesn't exactly pick them up in thick weeds. That's not to say it wouldn't be useful when the water drops into the 30s and you don't want to be casting. There it would make sense to look for a fish to jig at.
@thelonesomefisherman74252 ай бұрын
@VahnTitrio Interesting information. I've noticed that the walleye guys use it a lot for vertical jigging, and it seems to help them. It stands to reason that it would work for muskies too, as you said.

We just preferred to not say where we were in this case. Live scope can definitely be effective for "sniping" which we choose not to do. We fish exactly the same as we used to but are able to see if we had a fish come to the boat easier than with DI and SI only. Some people just drive around with the live scope not even fishing until a musky is located...not our style.

Don’t ever share spots with these guys they will exploit and ruin your waters
@headflat4492 ай бұрын
It's unfortunate that you guys have fallen for all the hype of that electronics BS. You don't need any of that to go fishing and catch fish.
@TodaysAngler2 ай бұрын
We use live scope the same was we use di and si, just a live view like a flasher.

That’s equivalent to saying you don’t need a cell phone to watch fishing videos- go back to vhs!
