I just want to point of a mistake from you in you’re video. You say it’s a Mindanao bleeding-heart dove. The actual bird in this video is the Luzon bleeding-heart dove. There is a Mindanao bleeding-heart Pigeon so 2 different species. 👍

WOW, GREAT VIDEO! I live in Thailand, BUT I grew up in Chester in the UK where this zoo is. That aviary was not built yet when I lived there so many years ago. I keep and breed white rumped shama, hanging parrots, Roul Roul partridge, Red Whikered Bulbul, Laughing Thrushes, leaf birds, white eyes, white zebra doves, various parrot finches, as well as Gouldian Finches and budgies, Chinese painted quails and fancy chickens, guinea fowl and some ducks. All are captive bred and many colour mutations, like white and pied, that are not found in the wild. I do rescue and had rear any wild bird babies people give to me, or that I find on the road. I often rear Asian koel, mynah birds, pied starlings and even sparrows and street pigeons. They all go back to the wild when independent, unless they are too severly injured they can't fly, but some still come back to visit me in my garden for some treats and a catch up on their life lol. Some of my song birds are a good pedigree and even their songs differ from those of their wild relatives. They are bought by people who enter them in cage bird singing competitions, which are very big here. If you have not seem them, they are something to behold and you can look on the internet. It was great to see this video. I am moving back to the UK in the next year of so to live on a canal narrow boat! I will miss my birds so much. I see you breed canary. I hope I might be able to guy one off you to have as a pet on the boat. It's going to be a big lifestyle change for me. As a teenager living in Chester I kept Goldfinches, bullfinches and a rescued rand raised magpie as well and fancy domestic pigeons.
