Giant Rainforest Mantis Moulting and Emerging

Giant Rainforest Mantis (Hierodula majuscula) shedding it’s exoskeleton and emerging into the next stage of life. The process is very delicate as the emerging mantis is extremely vulnerable to damage, it hangs precariously from its shedding until the new layer has dried and hardened from the air.
