Nice one Kev! You absolutely bashed the life out of your SBR! Glad the 3D printed braces held up, even in the chilly weather. Loved where you mounted the light switch panel too - I might just have to do the same on mine now. If the 3D printed chassis braces ever fail you (and I think they will eventually with your driving ;) stick the stainless steel braces on there - They're bomb proof! :) Cheers bud!

Kev, you can wire the lights to one of the receiver channel then on / off from the remote. That’s what i did to all my cars, i fitted additional lights, wired to channel 3/4/5/6 whichever available 😁

The metal braces are the way to go and you can add a 2nd Krayton shock to the rear of the losi to help prevent it from bottoming out. You keep the losi rear shocks in place as well. Yes it fits.

When you are done building the monster truck you have to bring it to the Cletus Mcfarland's Freedom Factory in Florida. It's a race track with a huge burnout pad in the center. I know Cletus is a rc plane pilot and I think he would love to bash some truck's also.

So I have a question, and maybe I’ve been doing it wrong but when I get a new rc car I adjust springs on the coil overs so that at full decompression of the vehicle it lifts back up to almost max.( knowing that after the first rip it will settle a little bit. But if you leave them set so soft it maxes/cases the rc every time with no help from the shocks/springs. Should I leave them at the stocks adjustment? I mostly speak for double wishbone suspension set ups. It just seems to me any help from the suspension could help save the chassis. And one more comment I know jumping them 30 ft in the air no amount of rc suspension can successfully handle that, but any help should keep your rc in better condition?

The first thing I thought seeing those metal braces was, too rigid, will transfer energy/breakage to somewhere you don't want it. But you pretty much said the same thing talking about needing some flex. Good vid Kev, that is a cool truck.

Hi Kev mate I need ur help I'm looking for a servo with max of 1kg push or pull force with two wires as I'm splicing it with a rc free spool winch so one way the servo will pull a pin in the winch to engage the free spool then wen the control on the transmiter is released the servo will go back to position ready for the controle to be pushed the opersite way to engage the real in funtion on the winch winch will stop then control is pressed the opersite way engages the servo to pull the pin for free spool and if not ther is a spring the engages the winch clutch wil the sprill pull the servo manually with no electricity or even ad a return damper or shock/spring I'm planning on putting the servo and winch motor into one micro two pin jst male plug so plugs into a mother board room am using its for a rc huina 1572 crane build so I can put on my home made concrete and lead wrecking ball to wind in with the winch the a servo release the ball and weight pulls out the cable 🤔 just neew help with the micro servo

Why didnt you use the PWM switches? You can split a channel with one so you would only need 2 pwm switch modules and then have one port free for another accessory
