Nice job Jay! Dehavilland Canada (DHC) has always been one of my favorite aircraft manufacturers. The Twin Otter is rad too! I fly my Beaver with the floats in the snow, all the time. FUN! You will want to replace the servos, as the plastic ones it comes with are junk. I used AGF titanium gear for the rudder and elevator, and some Hitec metal gear servos for the rest. Also, the foam hinges are very weak. Highly recommend re-hinging with DuBro style nylon hinges. FMS makes good planes, this Beaver may be their best prop plane, however, their cheap plastic gear servos, and weak foam hinges are very annoying. I replaced the 60 amp ESC with a 100amp Spektrum Avian ESC and put a gorgeous beechwood 16x9 Xoar prop on. With all these upgrades, shes quite a bit more expensive, but she really fly's like a dream now. Nothing is too good for your Beaver, right😉

Very cool flight! I have this plane in both version 1, and 2. I am very impressed with it. I flew version 1 from salt water just once. It didn't take long after that to show rust, and corrosion every where, so I got version 2, and used version 1 as a parts plane. Liked, and subscribed

I got this given. Haven't built it. Mine a glow engine version with recommended 46 engine, which seems excessive. The floats are extra but I would definitely go floats if I do build it. I have a few land based planes and 1 catalina, thats never lifted off, inspired to do this with electric but don't want all that gyro stuff and that is a lot of lipo.
