Hey Lance, great vid! Keep up the dry humour, I’m Scottish, so appreciate it, and if people can’t take a joke they should just find something else to watch😉 I have a reign e+2, prefer Rockshox and the Zeb is perfect for this bike! I know you weren’t into the app, but it’s pretty good, let’s you change the power on each of t he 5 settings so the lower modes become useful, even for someone 100kg geared up like me. This bike really does cater well for heavier riders, but can’t wait to see how much farther it goes when I drop the lockdown pounds. Keep up the great work!

The Zeb is a great fork. I am sure if I owned the bike I would get into the app. When I had the levo I used to play with the power settings. I do like the inbuilt display over displays stuck on the bike. It is not hard to look at your phone if you wanted more info. We always look at that info when stopped anyway. Thanks for the support.

Great video and a really nice review, the bike is tempting. Unfortunately I'm wary of Giant in NZ - I have a Trance 29/2 with multiple issues and Giant basically say "tough". Unlike some manufacturers, Giant will only warranty the first owner, I bought this 4 months old, so I'm SOL. Ridiculous issues like loose bottle cage mounts, oversize fork bushing, combined with really poor initial setup by the manufacturer/retailer - the rear derailleur initially appeared to be faulty but it was just never setup at all. So comments about the previous generation are really interesting.
@bestdayevermtb22 жыл бұрын
I have never owned a giant so have no experience of customer service. I know several people who have had no issues with their bikes. A bike shop told me about the issues they had with Giant and stopped selling them.

70kg...lol sure i believe you😉 This is probably the bike I would get, if available of cause. I have asked at the chch bike stores and none of them can say if they are even getting any. I looked at getting the trance e+1 which is a little cheaper than the reign and has the 750wh battery, I looked on the website in the morning and the trance was gone, they are selling before even in the country. I did look at the KTM you have and price is not to bad considering spec but the reach is insanely short, XL that I would ride is same as most M bikes, this is probably why the L reign feels big to you. Another decent vid, keep up the good work. Cheers Shane
@bestdayevermtb22 жыл бұрын
Glad you liked the video. Getting your hands on an e bike is quite a challenge at the moment. My ktm is a 462 reach in large. My previous levo was 450 in a large so not dissimilar. I rode an s3 levo at 450 also. Video out next week. I think the Giants reach wasn't as big an issue as the wheel base. The bike was so long it hardly fitted on my thule rack. I am lucky that I can ride a medium or large quite happily. Much harder for very tall riders and near on impossible for short riders.
@shanemichael3882 жыл бұрын
@@bestdayevermtb2 I did check and found I was looking at the 2022 KTM prowler which has 467mm reach on the XL model. Is Yours a 2021 model?
