Finally, I'm Home - Giant Reign E+1 2022 Demo?

Oh boy I'm so glad to be back in the UK enjoying some family time. It's been a long 4 month period away, but now I'm back it seems to have flown by.
I'd managed to get out a couple of times during the deployment, but it was nothing to exciting. Regardless it was EPIC to get out and experience something different.
So what's happening. Well I've managed to get hold of the new Giant Reign E+1 2022 from the local bike shop Solent Cycles in Fareham. Check these guys out if you live local. Absolutely cracking team and setup.

This E-Bike is Giants new offering for 2022 for the hardcore enduro riders amongst us. The specs are all online so please take a look if you're interested in the details.
I've been itching to try this out and here's my opportunity to thrash it at the local QECP. How things have changed here in such a short space of time. So many new and exciting trails to shred.
What a session is was. After 4 months off the bike, I'd settled into it pretty quickly to be honest. Cracking to be riding with my good mate Adz as always.

Great bike, loving mine. Top tip : put an RRP pro guard fender on the back to protect the rear shock/linkage from crud.

I’ve just turned 60 and am ready for an ebike , Got my eye on this one , ( probably the 2023 version) just seems to tick all the boxes at a good price , If you are going pedal assist , don’t see the point in being underbiked

Great video Mike, glad to see you back! Just an observation though, do you realise both times you said put it in turbo to do the climbs, you only had it in power mode 4 and not 5?

Nice video. There is a slight stutter to the frame rate. This usually occurs when you project frame rate doesn't match gopro Fram rate

I have one too! Love the bike. Had to flip the chip to the high setting for most trails I ride though as it's just a tad too low for some of the techy trails. Great bike though.

@@MikesMTBAdventures They don't feel 'quite' as sharp as they do on my Orbea Occam (same brakes), but I've not hit a tree yet :) I'm still getting used to the weight of the bike which you kinda forget about when riding, until you need to brake heavily - then you feel it a bit.

What eco like on Giant that bike I get got Sram Battery cover on Giant better than Haibikes as they good at Falling off Friends had to put Velcro strap on them my full Suspension Ebike be first ever full Suspension bike of any type as getting more money be able buy in one go present ebike was finance job also first bike with over 100mm travel it be 160mm
